Navigating the Brandywine App Interface
The Brandywine Phone App is organized into three main panels that help you manage calls, messages, and activity efficiently. These panels include a left panel, center panel, and right panel.
Both side panels are resizable, and the app remembers your layout the next time you log in. Accordion sections can be expanded or collapsed, and additional sections can be added or removed from the Preferences menu or by using the plus icon at the bottom of a panel.
Sending and Receiving Text Messages
The Messages tab allows you to send and receive text messages directly from the Brandywine Phone App. Text messaging must be enabled on your account for this feature to work.
From the message list, you can open conversations, start calls, delete messages, or mark them as new. Inside a conversation, you can send messages, add attachments, and leave private notes that are only visible to your account.
Using Voicemail
The Voicemail tab displays a list of all received voicemails along with quick actions such as delete, mark as read, and refresh.
Opening a voicemail shows the caller information, time received, audio playback controls, and a transcript. Additional actions include calling back, forwarding the voicemail, downloading the audio, or adding notes.
Call Recording
The call recording feature allows you to record audio while on an active call. Simply click the record button during the call and click again to stop recording.
Recordings can be accessed from the Recordings menu under your user avatar. From there, you can play recordings, add notes, or delete single or multiple recordings at once.
Park Orbits and Call Transfers
Park Orbits allow calls to be placed into shared slots so that other users in your domain can easily pick them up. This is ideal for moving calls between team members without coordination.
To park a call, drag the active call popup onto a Park Orbit. To transfer a call to an external phone number, use the Transfer button and enter the destination number.
Call Forwarding
Call forwarding settings are available from the Settings menu under your user avatar. These options allow you to forward calls based on different conditions.
You can forward calls all the time, when busy, on no answer, or when not registered. Additional options include hot desking, ringing multiple extensions, and disabling specific devices.
Managing Contacts
The Contacts tab lets you add, edit, delete, import, and export contacts. You can select individual contacts or use bulk actions for faster management.
Opening a contact provides access to detailed information and quick actions such as calling, texting, editing, or deleting the contact.
Switching Between Dark Mode and Light Mode
The Brandywine App allows you to switch between light mode, dark mode, or follow your system’s default appearance setting.
To change the color scheme, go to Settings, open Preferences, select your desired color scheme, and save your changes.
Using Mini Mode
Mini Mode activates automatically when the browser window is resized below a certain width. The layout adjusts to fit smaller screens while keeping core features accessible.
In Mini Mode, notifications and call activity may move to the bottom of the center panel. Active and parked calls remain visible and usable.
Resetting Your Password
If you forget your password, you can reset it from the login page by clicking the “Forgot your password?” link.
Enter your email address, follow the reset link sent to your inbox, and set a new password to regain access to your account.
